We are a crazy bunch. I freely admit it. A real Cast of Characters. But I like it that way.
To give you a better sense of who we are, let me introduce:
He’s hot. He’s smart. Wicked smart. Too smart (but possibly not as smart as me….AS IF). He has a heart the size of Texas with grit and cajones to match. He’s a manly man. And he is also hysterically hysterical. So basically he is the whole package, well worth moving from the Most Amazing City On Earth and an awesome job for and you can just take your eyes off and don’t even think about touching cuz I am a crazy way west woman and you don’t want to see me mad. LMAO. I don’t like confrontation so none of that last part is true. Pretty pleeze don’t mess with my man and KEEP YER MITTS OFF.
#1 a/k/a drama drama little llama: My first baby and only little girl, she is the apple of my eye and she knows it. She is an awesome, voracious reader and she understands my kind of humor. She is a shiny, bright light of happiness, has a heart of gold (she had actual, real tears last night about people making fun of Kim Kardashian!!!!! I couldn’t explain that in this case, KK just makes it so easy…..but #1 is spot on: she said : “just because it’s easy doesn’t make it right”). #1 is a left brain thinker and very creative, so she is a little eccentric and I love that about her.
She dances around like an absolutely crazed uncontrollable marionette and then looks up at me like she is a graceful gazelle. I love that look! #1 is an amazing eater: she will eat any cuisine, any amount of spice and new thing, with hardly a blink. One of her favorite foods is sushi. She’s my kind of gal.
He is all boy: dirty, rambunctious, naughty, foul-mouthed, testosterone-filled and oh so sweet, kind-hearted, cuddly, lovable and endearing at the same time. He is a Mini A1: a champion of justice, a gentleman when required and a good friend. He wants to climb on everything, and has this weird mouth fixation that requires constant attention, especially when traveling, because he wants to chew on his shirt or lovey or whatever else is at hand.
His pheromones match mine, so we are simpatico. To watch #2 grow is one of my greatest past times, although he is so sweet and warm and wonderful I could cry and I try really hard not to remember that someday that oh-so-soft cheek will be covered with hard, coarse whiskers and that adorable little bum won’t be mine to pat for much longer….#2 is a picky eater so that’s hard. And he doesn’t like to wear underwear, socks or shoes. Were it not for school, where we have determined all three are required, he would live in his favorite fleece pajamas…..
And then there is me. I am, of course, “practically perfect in every way”, as Mary Poppins reminds me to be. Really, I am crazy, but in a nice way. At least I hope you think so…
